Weekly Top 10 Songs
September 26, 2017 Wyatt Lillard

It is time for the weekly chart update. This week we have a new contender fighting the rights to sit on the throne and reign over the music chart *thunder sfx* Who is this new contender? Well it is someone very well known, and he has been quiet for quite some time. Drum roll please!

1-Look What You Made Me Do – Taylor Swift

Queen Swift is holding the rein and sitting on the throne only to consolidate conspiracy theorists theories even more.  Look What You Made Me Do remains at number 1 spot (until some other song knock it over) for 5 weeks. It seems Swift’s gone Gaga thing works out after all.

2-Bodak Yellow (Money Moves) – Cardi B

Miss Cardi B’s Bodak Yellow remains at number 2 spot after kicking and tumbled Despacito down to number 3 spot. The catchy song is all about Cardi B’s road to fame and how she dealt with things along the way.

3-1-800-273-8255 – Logic ft Alessia Cara and Khalid

Logic’s moving song quickly gains the attention of listeners as moves number 5 spot and pushing down Despacito even further down the chart. The song is about giving supporting, help, and understanding those in need of help. Be aware of the troubles others’ going through in their lives. Luis Fonsi might just need to call this helpline seeing the direction Despacito is taking.

4-Despacito – Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee ft Justin Bieber

Its seems Despacito situation is getting deperatecito (okay, i know its corny, shush). Despacito was kicked down from number 3 spot down to number 4 spot this week by Logic’s 1-800-273-8255. Will Despacito keep tumble down or will Despacito remain at the same spot?

5-Too Good At Goodbyes – Sam Smith

Featuring at number 5 spot is…..yes, none other than Sam Smith is back with a new heart-wrenching, teary eyes song. Immediately settles on number 5 spot right after its debut, Sam Smith’s new song has the potential to topple some of the chart toppers. Get ready reigning chart toppers, here comes a new contender that stings.

6-Wild Thoughts – DJ Khaled ft Rihanna and Bryson Tiller

The sexy and steamy song remains at number 6 spot, same as last week. The song’s steaminess makes number 6 spot untouchable and making the spot hot and steamy.

7-Unforgettable – French Montana ft Swae Lee

A song of Montana fought hardships that plagued him and his family back in their early days in America. The song fought it way through the chart and claimed the number 7 spot, moving two spots up.

8-Attention – Charlie Puth

At number 8 is Attention by Charlie Puth moving downward from number 7 spot last week to this week number 8 spot. The song’s about how some guys got played girls who want their attention only nothing more than that (or could be about Charlie Puth, eh who knows?)

9-Believer – Imagine Dragons

The number 9 spot is taken by Imagine Dragons’ Believer. It was at the number 8 spot last week, and the highest spot it reached was number 4. It has been on the chart for quite some time now, will it make it back to the top or continues to roll down the chart?

10-There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back – Shawn Mendes

Remaining at number 10 spot is There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back by Shawn Mendes. It dropped from number 8 spot to 10 and remains at the same spot this week.
